City and Colour - Confessions
---------------Dallas Green's got a lot to admit, and if he's going to spill his soul out on the table, he does so in the acoustic "Confessions." Illustrated in "Confessions" is the artist's struggle with placing words into lyrics, lyrics to a simple, minor guitar progression, and accepting human imperfection. Green shrugs off each verse with "At least I won't be alone tonight," giving a glimmer of hope after the verdict has been passed. Get "Confessions" off City and Colour's 2008, Bring Me Your Love.
