Sam Tsui - Firework & Grenade Mashup (Explosion Medley)
----------------I love Youtube sensations, mostly because of the artistic license to call your mashup an "exposion medley." Rightfully titled, because Sam Tsui performs beautifully on piano and knocks out the radio hits with a voice that puts up a great fight with Bruno Mars.
Sam Tsui are two crooners on Youtube named Sam and Kurt. They're on iTunes, but their mashups and covers gain the most attention from over 500,000 + subscribers. Check their page out after hearing this song of the day:

Deerhunter - Strange Lights
---------------Sorry, all. I was out and about visiting my dearest friend in Boston this weekend and narry a time at the computer could be spent!
The ambient rock walk-through-the-sunshine sound of Deerhunter is like warm weather - we're all ready for it and it couldn't fill up the atmosphere soon enough. Thankfully, we can pretend its a glorious, barefoot warm day in the park with "Strange Lights," a song about taking a stroll with someone you care about. Basic and simple, like the perfect white T. Can't wait to see them in Atlanta with Spoon in March. Get "Strange Lights" from the 2007 album, Cryptograms.

Cory Branan - Tall Green Grass
-----------------Cory Branan's "Tall Green Grass" rides along a jagged, steely guitar as well as an echoing block-beat that makes for a rustic, country-style rythem. Just as well, the sweet-secrets, hidden lust lyrics are perfect for lovers intertwined or those gone afar. Rolling Stone magazine called Cory Branan "a new breed of singer-songwriter" upon the release of his album, The Hell You Say. However, the Southaven, Mississippi man released "Tall Green Grass" from his 2006 album, 12 Songs.
You may be asking yourself, "Gee, Meg, how'd you find out about this killer artist? I love this guy!" Well inquisitive listener, I'm delighted to tell you that Cory Branan was featured on Taking Back Sunday's Adam Lazzara's featured playlist made on the obviously titled, Playlist.com. The list includes Iron and Wine, The Avett Brothers, HoneyHoney, and many more. Tell all your friends!
