The Scenic - Not
---------While perusing the crowded bulletin of fliers anxiously begging for keyboardists and bassists in my local Guitar Center (The GC Lounge), My hands were lucky enough to acquire Victory Summer Sampler, a no-charge-all-rock compilation to welcome the season of Ray Bans and sweat-drenched outdoor concerts. The Scenic dominate most of the tracks along with label buddies Hawthorne Heights, The Audition, and Farewell to Freeway.
"Not" has to be on the top 5 in that summer '09 playlist I know you're piecing together on your ipod. Angsty why-can't-we-be-together lyrics and moaning you're-so-fine-it's-crazy vocals are the divine recipie of summer love goodness. Get "Not" from their debut album Find Yourself Here.
