Better Than Ezra - Desperately Wanting
----------------Remember a time when even CDs weren't the top way to jam to your favorite artists? Better Than Ezra certainly does. A New Orleans band formed in the late 80's, BTE released an EP and the cassette-only album Surprise in 1989. Despite the loss of lead-guitarist Joel Rundell and the coming and going of members, Better Than Ezra produced several albums throughout the 90's, including Friction, Baby in 1996. "Desperately Wanting" sums up the pleading lyrics of Kevin Griffin singing of Joel Rundell's struggles and ultimate suicide. Get "Desperately Wanting" off Friction, Baby.
